fyi - Our www.bexardemocrat.org web site domain name is registered with IONOS. When the domain name was transferred away from the previous owners, it was easiest to stay with IONOS. Thus, the email account is also with IONOS.
In the email you received, you have both your designated BCDP email address and the Password.
There are two ways to get your BCDP email and they are: 1) Via the web by logging onto the IONOS server or 2) Establish an IONOS email account directly on your desktop or mobile device.
1. Via Web Server. Login into IONOS by going to:
- mail.ionos.com
- type in your email address [email protected]
- type in the password that was emailed to you.
2. Directly to your Desktop or Mobile Device. (I can walk you through this if needed)
- Go to settings and add an email account
- Set Inbound host to: imap.ionos.com
- Set Outbound host to: smtp.ionos.com

Discussion on Password Protection. As of now both Monica and I have the entire email password list. A copy of these email passwords and the web site admin and domain name password are in a sealed envelope in a BCDP file folder at my home. My wife, Margaret Kanyusik, can produce the sealed envelop if asked by the appropriate person. I suggest a 2nd envelope, with the same information be kept by the chair or another Exec Committee member.
